Upside Down Arafat

Not an earth shattering post, but I thought some people might get a kick out of this. Maybe I should have titled it Yasser-in-the-Box. I ripped this out of the paper some time ago and ran across it the other day. I wonder if anyone else has seen this other face of good old Yasser. I was curious if a little shift in perspective and a little creative tearing would yield the same results on other photos of Mr. Arafat. It turns out that it does. Maybe the thought of this will make your late night news a little more entertaining next time. Just remember that it's not good to stand on your head for too long.

Wow, that is almost scary. He looks like a strange muppet. Something weird happens when you look at photos of faces upside down. Here is a link to a site that shows an illusion with upsidedown faces:

Yes sir! Yah sure! Yasser looks just fine the way you creatively tore into his photo. Ya wanna bet that others too would look as good? Nice persepective. Maybe I can use his lips for my pieta. (Not really.)
