Here is a link to StereoGum.com where you can watch Beck’s newest music video. To all the type enthusiasts out there, prepare to be blown away. You can also take a peak at the Guero album art. Here’s the link:

That is great. I would love to see it at a little higher resolution. Maybe iTunes will have it in a while. I just watched Ghettochip Malfunction on iTunes. It is very Beck and reason enough for me to get the album. Of course I will be using my free songs courtesy of Pepsi. If you check out the Beck video on iTunes, you might want check out the Ben Folds documentary style video and the Bjork video as well. Both are interesting in very different ways.

Maybe it’s just because I’ve seen tons of ascii stuffe bfore, but that video seems totally boring to me.

I could have been amazing. Perhaps an animated version of this:

Thanks for posting this, I used it as an example in the Typography class I’m teaching this quarter.

Oh, and I like the song too. :D

Beck has another video for type fans. It has been out for a couple of months but I hadn’t seen it yet. This video is a visual feast. To get the full experience you have to see it on TV or at least a higher resolution. To view, go to the news section and scroll down to “6.17.05 GIRL video.”
