Most Awesomest Printer Ever.
I can’t wait for printers like PixelRoller to hopefully reach the consumer market in the near future.
PixelRoller is a paint roller that paints pixels, designed as a rapid response printing tool specifically to print digital information such as imagery or text onto a great range of surfaces.
Just imagine painting your studio walls with giant typography murals or some badass illustrations. Of course if printers like PixelRoller do hit the mainstream, I expect there will be a *slight* rise in grafitti spottings.

Ok, that’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. How on earth does that work?

It’s like the twirly things you can get at Disneyland (and assuming other places as well) that spell stuff like an electronic bulletin board when you spin it.

I keep thinking that this is going to be another viral internet joke that I fall for, but I’m starting to let myself believe. I can’t wait until some version of this hits the market. I can only imagine the creative things that graphic designers will come up with (not to mention interior designers).
As long as Epson, HP or some other printer manufacturer doesn’t get ahold of it, it should be great fun for the masses. We all know what Epson would do with the price of the ink if they had the patent on it.
