Delettering the Public Space

Just wanted to point out a cool article I read over at Typographica about “Delete: Delettering the Public Space,” a project by Christoph Steinbrener and Rainer Dempf. They took yellow foil and covered all the letters on a popular shopping street in Vienna. It shows exactly how much advertising and typography we encounter on a daily basis…and how much we probably tune out.
