Do not exceed the maximum specified load.

Today I received my new Bogen Manfrotto Tripod. When browsing through the warning booklet, I was immediately stopped by the illustration next to the warning “Do not exceed the maximum specified load.” As my public service to you tripod owners out there, I figured I’d scan the warning and share it with everybody. (Basically, it looks like you’re not supposed to put the tripod where the sun don’t shine.)

For me, it immediately took that shape of a man dropping a massive, spraying “load” that exceeded the normal limits of whatever seat he was sitting on. Please see “Van Wilder” for such an example.
In my first logo design class, we were instructed to design new marks for existing airlines. Despite our best efforts, most of the class at one point or another designed something that looked remarkably like a plane going down in flames. Its amazing how much a reader can infer into a simplified illustration.

It looks like what we called in Guatemala “bu” (butt urine). “the only difference between bu and urine is that urine comes out slowly.”
Sorry.
