Tom, that's great! Even though Comcast isn't anywhere near my area, I still enjoyed watching the commercial--thanks for the link.

The commercial was great. And I think I saw you on TV in the stands, in Anaheim or LA or do they just have an identity crisis. I'm pretty sure you were the geek with that stupid "rally monkey". Does every Angel fan carry around a stuffed monkey?

I agree. I loved this commercial as well. Very timely and trendy. It reminded me of an Old Navy ad. Speaking of good Ads, how about the credits that roll in for the new FOX show Prison Break. I love the text flying in with the barbed wire. Very Saul bass.

I share your thoughts as well. Its nice to see a little wit and a good concept go a long way. It will be interesting to see if its a series of commercials or not. And to see if it can hold up.

Haven't seen the ads, but I share your assesment of the Whitesox Tom. Aside from Paul Konerko and Jose Contreras, the best thing about the Whitesox is that their not the Marlins.

I have to agree...in spite of the fact I'm no fan of Comcast, I laugh at these. The beauty of it is that it is not a re-creation or re-interpretation of the set with actors wearing retro clothes...it's an actual re-broadcast, replete with terrible dubbing (which only makes it funnier).

It's a fantastic commercial. Although I take serious issue with your swipe at the Sox.
(And as for game shows, my favorite was always Scrabble, because you had the best sound effects and those nice little squares that fit into that slot. Something about that was very reassuring.)

When Bennett and I saw this commercial I immediately exclaimed, "It is like... if Tom made commercials!" LOVE that you posted about this....
