My network-weaning process went like this: Cosby Show to Cheers, Cheers to Seinfeld, Seinfeld to (Wings), then I quit watching NBC altogether...hmmm, maybe Wings wasn't so good after all. One time this guy Kadavy knocked on Wings. I was super offended. Back in the old days when I watched NBC, I loved Wings. We just said that no matter what you do to make the packaging cool, its still a Fresca. And Fresca is still, um, well its still Fresca, and nobody I know drinks Fresca. The whole thing reminds me of those old Miller TV ads where people would argue (Tastes Great! Less Filling!), if they were done for Fresca: ...Fresca (Looks Cool! Tastes Crappy!)
