  • Top 100 Commenters

There is a new section in our sidebar that lists the top ten commenters on Be A Design Group. It isn’t much, but I think it is important to recognize the contributions of these people as valuable members of our group. Most of our top commenters have their own websites, so click on their names and show them some love. Thank you to everyone who has left a comment here. If you are wondering how close you are to the top ten, here are the top 100…

This list is automatically generated, so check back to see your rank change. I didn’t give links to these names because I want that to be an honor reserved for the top ten. Also, if you are on the list and would like to be removed, please let me know.

This is probably a good time to mention that I strongly recommend that you sign up for a TypeKey account. If you are signed in through TypeKey your comments will bypass our spam filters and automatically get published to the site. Plus your name will have a cute little icon on it that will make you look important.

And since we are talking about comments, feel free to brush up on our comment policy.

Whoa. I cracked the top 20 n’ stuff.

    2. Mike Miller Says:

Me too. That’s going on my resume under that ever-encouraged “awards and recognitions” area!

    3. DC1974 Says:

Darn you JonSel. You are going down.

    4. L-Fo Says:

I am just commenting solely to move up in the ranks – HA!

    5. Al aka El Negro Magnifico Says:

I find it funny that fellow gigposters.com member Richie Goodtimes is in the top 30. It all stems from the infamous gigposters entry, which introduced me to this blog in the first place. Heh.

I’ve been coming since L-fo introduced me, and as a gigposters.com member, I thought it was great when that post blew up. There were some good comments in there. And some not as good comments too.
However – I don’t know how great it is that these stats are live, some competitive weirdos will go nuts! (L-fo!)

    7. JonSel Says:

I guess I should point out this isn’t the first time I’ve been told I talk too much.

    8. Bennett Says:

Ben, As with most things, there are good and bad points to it. We wanted a way to acknowledge our regular commenters and this seemed like a great way to do it. We always reserve the right to delete comments if they are irrelevant, so hopefully that will deter people from leaving comments for the sole purpose of moving up the ranks. If this feature turns out to be a problem on BADG then we will just take it off and view it as a valid experiment.

JonSel, You will never catch me saying you talk too much. A special thanks for all your insightful comments.

    9. GCRaya Says:

That’s great. Does this make BE A Design group Web 2.0?

    10. jwh Says:

      ditto, JonSel… love the interaction… love BADG…

    11. Tony Says:

Do the people in the top 20 have jobs? I want to know what kind of work they do that allows so much time online, typing opinions about design. I want that job!

    12. BAMm Says:
