Nate, Donovan, Tom:

Congrats on 50 amazing episodes!

The day discovered Be A Design Group and the BAD Cast, I listened to all 20 or so episodes straight through. I couldn't get enough of what I was hearing.

Your combination of wit, humor, and insight has made for some great moments and a continuing source of inspiration. And with those great interviews and industry news, you have made Be A Design Group a real force.

I can't thank you guys enough for your work.

-Zac

Thanks Tom. And yes, that is a Taco John's cup featuring Whiplash the dog-riding monkey, as this was taken during the first year's holiday design review. It's one of the only photos we can locate of any actual recording happening.

Wow, 50 episodes! Congratulations, guys. I remember when Nate first had the idea for this thing...one night the three of us sat around at the bar, talking about design, and Nate exclaimed "THIS should be the podcast!" And it was!

Quite a moment of genius on his part. What a blast those early episodes were to record. The show as now constructed is quite a departure from back then, and I mean that in a good way. Can't wait to get back in the studio with you guys and record the big Super Bowl episode next week.

BTW, what in the name of Andrew Ridgley am I drinking in that photo you used above? Is that a holiday Taco John's glass? I could use some TJ's right now, actually. Potato Ole's are tasty.

Lindsey, Nate and I were in Boise to give a presentation to the students at Boise State on what to expect upon graduation in the field of Design. As we record our interview shows around the guests' schedule (mostly when people are in Omaha, or when we travel), these are sometimes done a couple of months in advance. Unfortunately, we returned from Boise on December 7th, but did take the opportunity to record a show with some of the incredible Boise State faculty members, which we will release this week.

May I ask what you will be doing in Boise? I have been following your podcast for the last year and look forward to every episode. It's exciting to think that you might be visiting Idaho (even if it is the opposite end of the state from me). Any chance you will be making it further north?
